Collaboration is Key! The Partners for Youth Foundation is a non-profit organization 501(C)(3) founded in memory of the late Anthony Baker. For more than a decade, the PFY foundation has devoted its efforts on the personal and cultural development of the young men and women in our community. We are proud to serve as the non-profit partner in the production of the  Grace Jamaican Jerk Fest as well as the distributors of the Anthony Baker Scholarship Fund. Through strategic partnership, the mission of Partners for Youth Foundation strives to develop our youth emotionally, socially, academically, and culturally to ensure that their futures are bright.

ASSET OF THE MONTH:

 INTERPERSONAL COMPETENCE

For the month of February, the asset being focused on by Partners for Youth Foundation for our community is Interpersonal Competence. Interpersonal Competence is the ability to choose a type of communication that is most effective in a given situation. Such competency empowers individuals to achieve the goals of any communication in a manner that is best suited for all parties involved. It is the hope that through building the Interpersonal Competence Asset, the young people in in our community will display empathy, sensitivity, and positive friendship skills.
