our heart, our reason
Collaboration is Key! The Partners for Youth Foundation is a non-profit organization 501(C)(3) founded in memory of the late Anthony Baker. For close to two decades, the PFY foundation has devoted its efforts on the personal and cultural development of the young men and women in our community. We are proud to serve as the non-profit partner in the production of the Grace Jamaican Jerk Fest as well as the distributors of the Anthony & Marcia Baker Scholarship Fund. Through strategic partnership, the mission of Partners for Youth Foundation strives to develop our youth emotionally, socially, academically, and culturally to ensure that their futures are bright.
Stay up to date and stay safe.
ASSET OF THE MONTH:
40 Development Assets for adolescents 12-18
The Partners for Youth Foundation follows the Search Institute’s developmental asset model. Search Institute has identified 40 positive supports and strengths that young people need to succeed. Half of the assets focus on the relationships and opportunities they need in their families, schools, and communities (external assets). The remaining assets focus on the social-emotional strengths, values, and commitments that are nurtured within young people (internal assets). With the help of Partners for Youth Foundation, asset development can become an essential piece of South Florida growing great kids.
