Please read our membership policy and complete the application below.

Membership Policy
Partners For Youth Foundation (Partners for Youth South Florida) 501c3 Membership:
1. Individual, Group, Affiliate & Corporate
a. Individual membership calls for participation in PFY programs and projects on
a general basis and includes a membership fee and representation.
b. Group Partners will include organizations that will support the programs of PFY,
such as churches and schools, and may support our cause, endorsing our projects
& ensuring their youths are in attendance.
c. Affiliate Partners include other organizations, service clubs, and NGOs who will
support, participate, and collaborate in PFY programs & projects.
d. Corporate Contributors will support PFY through bursaries, sponsorship,
or in-kind support. Involves strategic alliance with established private & public
sector, national and international entities, & fund-raising activities.
Note: Fees for Corporate Sponsorship are different from individual membership.
The fee structure is based on the size of the company.
Corporate Level #1 - $250 - $500
Corporate Level #2 - $550 and above)
2. All Members will be invited to
a. Attend the Annual CONFAB- (A critical Face-to-Face dialog with the youth)
b. Support and assist with our Presentation series, Signature events, and support
programs focused on the youth, such as our Scholarship program & topics on
Education, Health & Wellness, Mental Health, Finances, Trafficking, etc.
c. Individual members will honor the giving of dues, & of time (volunteering) based
on pledges given. Ages 18-25, $50/year; Ages 26+, $75/year
d. Participate in regular meetings, in keeping with by-laws of the PFY.
e. Be physically present and participate in community-focused programs and
fundraisers hosted by PFY.
f. Be virtually present and participatory at virtual events.
g. Support mentorship programs.
h. Serve on Committee(s) as assigned and as agreed.
i. Attending general membership meetings held quarterly.
j. Vote on non-election issues and concerns of the PFY
k. Participate in a background check (Please note: The mission of our organization is
to serve young people in our community. Because of this, members will be
required to do a background check)
3. Membership benefits will be commensurate with the level of involvement and
contribution to the PFY. Members may participate in at least one committee:
a. Youth Programs
b. Finance & Fundraising
c. Outreach and Advocacy
d. Events & Planning
e. Marketing
f. Scholarship
g. Membership
ADDENDUM:
1. What Individual Membership Means: Membership PFY refers to the status of being
officially enrolled or registered as a participant or member of PFY. Members are expected to
adhere to Bylaws, and rules of the organization. Members must be 18 or older, pay
registration/annual fees (from $50), adhere to the code of conduct of PFY, and attend and
participate in meetings and activities. The first year of membership fee is waived.
2. Termination: Membership may be terminated due to non-payment of dues, violation of the
organization’s code of conduct, and failure to attend regular membership meetings without a
valid excuse.
3. Incentives:
1. Access to Programs and Services: Members may gain access to PFY programs,
workshops, and services, including educational workshops, leadership training,
mentoring programs, or career development opportunities.
2. Networking Development: Members may have the prospect of connecting with other
like-minded youth, volunteers, mentors, or professionals in their field of interest,
whether virtually, hybrid or in-person.
3. Skills Development: Members may have opportunities for skill-building and
personal development, such as public speaking, project management, teamwork, or
technical skills through workshops, training sessions, or hands-on experiences.
4. Recognitions and Awards: Members who actively participate and contribute to the
organization's mission may be recognized publicly with awards, certificates, etc.,
therefore boosting self-confidence.
5. Exclusive Resources: Members may have access to resources such as educational
materials, toolkits, or platforms tailored to their interests and development.
6. Personal Growth and Empowerment: Membership in a nonprofit organization like
Partners For Youth can offer opportunities for personal growth, empowerment, and
the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
7. Community Involvement: Membership may foster a sense of belonging and
connection to the community by participating in outreach activities, community
service projects or advocacy campaigns aligned with the organization's mission.
How to Become a Member of Partner for Youth Foundation
1. Fill out the Membership Application form attached. Scan your application form and
email it to: info@partnersforyouthfoundation.com or visit our website at

2. Background Check
Once the background check is complete, we will contact you. The Chair of the committee(s) you
expressed interest in serving on will also follow up with you.
